Connor Cares in Action!
As a global presence, we at Connor take our commitment to our communities seriously. This is why our leadership team instituted Connor Cares, to reaffirm our commitment to our communities. Every year we support our employees’ activity and contributions to their communities.
Opportunities for service and volunteerism are everywhere! As a firm, we can celebrate and build on Connor's spirit of service. Over the past year, our teams have looked for ways to step up our service game to help those around us.
“The goal is not just to get others to volunteer for one day, but to change people’s mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors so they become agents of change and work as partners to build a better world.”
As we approach the holiday season, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the community engagements our teams have participated in this year. We are also looking to complete additional projects through the end of the year with our employees in Canada and the U.S.
Our Utah team supported a Back-to-School event at the local Boys and Girls Club. Connor donated school supplies for underprivileged children and several of our employees went and helped hand them out to the children. Our employees said, “It was so rewarding to provide school supplies to the children. They were each so happy to receive their own items. Many asked if they would need to share and were delighted to hear they didn’t. It was truly a privilege to be involved and serve our communities!”

Connor also helped support a wrestling camp for students in both girls and co-ed events for a local school in our employee’s community. We helped make it possible for every child who wanted to participate in Wrestling could! Here are some pics from the girls who came out and participated.

As the holiday season approaches our offices are looking at ways to give back in local communities. One of our teams is collecting items for the crisis nursery. “Crisis Nursery, is a home away from home for children aged 0-12 whose families are in crisis or have no safe alternatives when they need respite.” The nursery always has a running “items needed” list and towards December they often put together gift lists for the kids in their care. Often items are things we already have on hand or easily found at the grocery store.
Our teams at Connor look forward to continuing to support our local communities through the rest of the year and into next year. For more information about Connor Cares, please visit the community section of our website.
