Last month, we gathered industry leaders from the license compliance space to connect over opportunities and challenges within the industry. A recurring theme during the discussions was how AI and Automation, already transforming many organizations, will continue to reshape operations and drive value for companies.
Although many organizations are still in the early stages of AI adoption, there is a remarkable appetite among these leaders to explore ways to harness AI for more efficient and effective operations, all while maintaining secure and responsible practices.
In one high-impact session, a client further along in AI and Automation adoption shared concrete examples of how their team has driven automation using specific tools, transforming the conversation from theoretical to practical. The key takeaways for the group included:
• How the implementation of these tools has enabled the organization to achieve more without increasing its budget and resources.
• How the client has empowered team members to identify manual processes or analyses that could benefit from automation.
• How the client has developed processes and communication protocols to ensure the security of key confidential data when evaluating and utilizing new tools.
Connor has traditionally embraced new technologies and tools to implement data-driven compliance approaches that drive continuous improvement for our client’s organizations. We are committed to remaining at the forefront of innovation in AI and Automation, and these discussions have provided incredible insights for our technology roadmap. As we evaluate AI tools and technologies, our focus is on identifying secure solutions that support our client’s key goals in areas such as:
• Harnessing the vast public and market data available to drive meaningful insights into risks across the client’s licensee base.
• Proactively identifying potential compliance risks to supplement a more reactive audit process.
• Enhancing efficiency in the audit and data analytics processes for our team and clients, enabling broader coverage of compliance risks without a directly proportional increase in resources and spending.
• Supporting clients in driving cross-functional collaboration by raising compliance’s visibility and contributions, and aligning with company goals, mission, and values.
We already have follow-up industry roundtables planned to continue focusing on driving innovation across the industry.
